The Comprehensive Beach Management Plan (Plan) will be developed for the potential integration with the City’s Comprehensive Plan as the Coastal Management element. The Plan will be consistent with FDEP Erosion Control Program guidelines and align with the potential for State funding for erosion control projects. The Plan will include a summary of feasible management strategies and recommended actions.
The main body of the report will be prepared with this consideration and will include the following components:
Feasibility Study that will look at the Study Area Background, Coastal Processes Assessment, Environmental Setting Characterization, Storm Vulnerability Evaluation, and Storm Damage Reduction Benefit Analysis.
Beach Management Plan that will include Recreational Benefit Analysis, Economic Benefit Analysis, and Funding Opportunity Evaluation.
